Nascar Canadian Tire Series

Scott Steckly was doing donuts for the fans on the finish line. He was the winner of the Nascar Canadian Tires Series second event of the year. Don Thomson, Jr was 24 points behind the leader. Thomson collected the seventh pole position for Karwatha Speedway. DJ Kennington, Andrew Ranger, Kerry Micks, Mark Dilley and JR Fitzpatrick came third to seventh in the championship. Jason White won the Rookie of the Year award.

Delaware Speedway

Steve Robblee was the winner of the Late Model championship. He beat second place Ron Sheridan, third place Jessie Kennedy, fourth place Scott Lindsay and fifth place Duke Sawchuck.

Ron Sheridan won the APC 300 Late Model race on August 29 2008. He was awarded $10,000.00 dollars for the win.

Mark Watson won the Open Wheel Modified championship for the second time in a row.

Ontario Sportman Series

Shawn McGlynn was the winner of the OSS at 622 points for the Championship. Matt Robblee was second with 617 points.

Kawartha Speedway

Brandon Watson came third in the Late Model championship. He also came first in the Summer Shootout Series that was put together by Kawartha Speedway and Capital City Speedway. Tom Walters ‘Stompin’ Tom’ won the Limited Late Model Championship.

Sunset Speedway

The Limited Late Model Championship was won by Chris Morrow and in second was Tom Walters.


McColl Winners 2007

Nascar Canadian Tire Super Series

Andrew Ranger was the winner of the FIRST Nascar Canadian Tire Super Series. DJ Kennington was in second place. Nine out of ten McColl built chassis were the ones to beat including JR Fitzpatrick, Derek Lynch and Don Thomson, Jr.

Jessie Kennedy was the winner of the Late Model Delaware Championship and the APC 300 for which he received $10,000.00. In the Modifies, Mark Watson was first and Barry Newman came second.
