NASCAR at Kawartha Speedway, Peterborough, DJ Kennington (17) was the winner in his 7th race of 2012 for the 35 year old. He took the lead on lap 231 and led the rest of the race. He won the Championship!

“It was just an amazing season,” said Kennington. “It was a lot of hard work and I really can’t thank the crew enough. They’re the best.” 

Second was Andrew Ranger (27), third was JR Fitzpatick (84), fourth was Pete Shepherd lll (7) and fifth was Martin Roy (90). Martin Roy also won the Rookie of the Year. Scott Steckly (22), Mark Dilley (02), Jeff Lapevich (23) Donald Chisholm (89) and LP Dumoulin (47) were sixth to tenth.
